We have arrived in Vancouver, very much alive and very much in one piece.

>>insert joy and rapture<<

We now return you to your regularly scheduled blog.

I'm having a hard time saying goodbye to my computer.

I thought a break from my computer would be healthy and it would give me a chance to occupy myself with other activities. Apparently I neglected to acknowledge the fact that my computer has practically become a part of my body, and that going without it for an extended period of time would be exceedingly difficult.

When I need someone's phone number, I turn on the computer. When I need music, I turn on the computer. When I need directions, I turn on the computer. When I need to find out more about the finer points of Bolivian hat-making, I turn on the computer. Just contemplating being without all of my files, not to mention the spanky-fast ADSL connection, gives me the shakes.

~sigh~ Goodbye, computer.

Have you ever reached a point in your life where you need a drastic change, where you have to pack your bare essentials into a few boxes and take off suddenly for a city that's 1250 kilometres away?

Yeah, me neither. But I'm going. To Vancouver, no job, no place to live, practicality be damned. WHOOPEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

I have a tendency to be anal and stuck in my ways and easily discouraged and overly practical, so I'm not really telling anyone. At least, not until I'm settled in Vancouver. Then I can call my friends and give them all coronaries. By then it'll be too late to say, "Hey, are you sure that's a good idea?". It's definitely not a good idea. Congratulate me in my complete lack of foresight and planning! I am Spontaneous Girl! I am spontaneously spontaneous, and I'm spontaneously spontaning my way to the glorious city by the ocean, Vancouver!

I also plan to become a musician and do some acting, which only serves to make me MORE spontaneous. I'm going to have the coolest life! YIPPEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

But I won't be doing much computer stuff, since I won't have a computer. Oh well. ~shrug~ I guess that kinda sucks for you folks, but I'll check in from time to time. If you start missing me too much, send an email and FN will let me know so I can reflect fondly on how much I'm missed. Oh, and maybe write you back or something.
