My to-do list

1) I will not doubt myself - even when the amazing photography of others makes me question the legitimacy of my own quest to become a photographer. Even when others seem so astoundingly talented that I wonder if I really can bring anything to the table

2) I will continue to support the artists around me - I will avoid the pissing matches (real-life or online) over equipment, technique, credentials, connections, etc. and surround myself with people who also support the artists around them

3) I will remember to enjoy myself - it's easy to forget sometimes that the whole point of doing this is because I love it. I'm not doing it to impress other people, win friends, or get rich and famous. I'm doing this because pretty pictures make me so fucking happy

4) I will forge ahead - wherever it leads me, even if it gets rough, even if doubt swirls around me like a thick fog. I will trust my passion to guide me out of the dark
