I try to keep the embedded video to a minimum, but this one pretty much hit the nail on the head.

Rarely has anything so simple so vastly improved my quality of life. It’s no commercial-quality espresso machine, but for the price it’s fantastic. $50 is a hell of a lot less than what morning coffee ritual at Second Cup was costing me every year.

Now I can spend my money in other frivolous ways, like replacing my poor, drowned iPod Touch.

While I love vintage clothing and furniture, these women scare me. A lot.

Julian Wolkenstein is a photographer who did a series of horse portraits with hair extensions to give the horses big hair. The end result is pure unadulterated awesome.

Inspired by the sleepy bee on Cute Overload, I thought I would take a moment to recognize the insects that make our fruits, vegetables and flower gardens possible.

Bees are the ones we are most familiar with, but did you know that beetles and wasps also pollinate plants? Even the much-maligned mosquito helps make the world more delicious and beautiful.

Here’s to the creatures that contribute to the world around us, but get lousy PR!
